Rap Club began in 2012, with a grant from the New Hanover County Friends of the Public Library. Rap Club gives children the opportunity to compose original songs, play with language and express themselves in a creative way as well as develop critical literacy skills such as phonological awareness, rhyming, grammar and writing.
